Split the Bill Terms of Use

These Terms are an agreement between you and Raedacon Labs (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2026/010100/07, South Africa) ("we", "us") for your use of the Split the Bill Android app ("the App"). By using the App you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Who can use the App

The App is intended for people aged 13 and older. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use it only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these Terms for you.

2. The App

• The App works offline and needs no account. What you create in it is stored only on your device. We cannot recover it if you uninstall the App, clear its data or lose your device, so keep your own copies of anything important.
• The App is free to download and shows ads. Ads come from Google AdMob, and some ad choices depend on your consent, as described in the Privacy Policy.
• We may change, update or stop offering the App, or any feature of it, at any time.

3. Pro

• Pro is an optional one-time purchase made through Google Play. It is not a subscription and does not renew. Pro removes ads and unlocks the extra features listed in the App when you buy it.
• Purchases are handled by Google Play and are subject to Google Play's terms. Prices are shown in the App and in Google Play, in your local currency, including any taxes Google Play applies.
• Pro is linked to the Google account you bought it with. If you reinstall the App, or move to another device signed in to the same Google account, use Restore purchase in the App to unlock it again.
• Refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policy. If you have a problem with a purchase, contact us at support@raedaconlabs.com.

4. Rewarded videos

Some features can be unlocked for a limited time, or once, by choosing to watch a video ad. These unlocks have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and end when stated in the App.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the App, except where the law allows it;
• interfere with the App's ads or purchases, or try to get Pro features without paying;
• use the App to break the law or to infringe anyone's rights.

6. Ownership

The App, its design, code, text and graphics belong to Raedacon Labs (Pty) Ltd or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on Android devices you own or control, under these Terms and Google Play's terms. Anything you create in the App is yours.

7. No warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose. The App is for personal use and entertainment or convenience. Do not rely on it for decisions where a mistake could cause loss or harm.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Raedacon Labs (Pty) Ltd is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Pro, if any. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have that cannot lawfully be limited, including under South Africa's Consumer Protection Act where it applies.

9. Ending use

You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may stop providing the App to you if you break these Terms.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. If you live in a country whose consumer laws give you more protection, those protections still apply.
